Employees' Compensation Insurance is a compulsory insurance governed by the Employees' Compensation Ordinance in Hong Kong, which requires all employers (companies or individuals) to arrange an employees' compensation policy for all employees with a compensation limit of not less than HK$100 million, in order to cover their liabilities for their employees' injuries at work.
Fulfilling Employer's Liability
The policy covers the employer's legal liability under the Employees' Compensation Ordinance and Common Law, as a result of employees sustaining injuries or contracting diseases in the course of and arising out of their employment.
