Update Patch for Amendment of Minimum Level of Relevant Income for MPF Contributions

Message to our prestigious MPF / Payroll clients using the SCB Easy Pay system:

The Legislative Council has passed the amendment of minimum level of relevant income for Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) contributions. The minimum level of relevant income has been amended to $6,500, effective 1 November 2011, from the original level of $5,000. For the contribution periods (wage periods in general) starting on or after the effective date, employees with a monthly relevant income less than $6,500 are not required to make the employee's part of contribution, but their employers have to make the employer's part of contribution.

	Easy Pay-Amendment of Minimum Level of RI Update Patch

Install Instructions:

1. Click the above link, and click button "Download" to save the file.
2. Double click the PayUp.exe, and then PayUp window will be prompted out.
3. Press 'Get DB Info' button. Browse and Select the current location of the installed Easy Pay program (e.g. C:\Program Files\Easy Pay).
4. Click the "Start Patch" button to start off the upgrade process, and the software will be automatically upgraded.
5. When the "Patch completed" message is displayed, click the "Exit" button to close the Upgrade Window, and your Easy Pay upgrade is completed.
