New security measures are available on electronic channels to facilitate customers to safeguard bank accounts
To facilitate customers to safeguard bank accounts, starting from 24 March 2024, new security measures are available on various electronic channels below gradually and customers can perform the following via the electronic channels:
Personal Internet Banking / Shacom Bank mobile App1 |
- View geographical location & device information of activities or transactions and
- Search for high-risk activities or transactions (e.g. fund transfers to non-registered accounts, register Mobile Security Token, etc.)
via "Personlize > Enquiry > Activity Log"

Corporate Internet Banking1 |
- View geographical location & device information of activities or transactions via "Settings > Activity Enquiry > Daily Activity Log" & "Settings > Activity Enquiry > Security Log Enquiry", and
- Search for high-risk activities or transactions (e.g. fund transfers to non-registered accounts, register Mobile Security Token, etc.) via "Settings > Activity Enquiry > Daily Activity Log"
For the activities or transactions performed via Shacom Business mobile App, please view on Corporate Internet Banking.
Please note that Administrators and/or Authorizers can view geographical location & device information for all users, while Operators can view their own such information.

Shacom Pay mobile App2 |
The new function "Activity Log" will be available and customer can:
- View geographical location & device information of the activity or instruction and
- Search for designated activities or instructions (e.g. Register Shacom Pay Service, Register Biometric Authentication Service, etc.)
Customers are required to update the Shacom Pay mobile App to the latest version to continue using the service and enjoy the above new features.

Note:
- Customers can view geographical location & device information for activities or transactions on or after 24 March 2024 via Personal Internet Banking / Shacom Bank mobile App or Corporate Internet Banking.
- Customers can view activities or instructions on or after 24 March 2024 via new function “Activity Log” on Shacom Pay.
