This includes information you provide when you register to use our site, subscribe to our i-Banking Service and when you report a problem with our site. The information you give us may include your name, gender, postal and e-mail address, previous addresses, telephone and fax number, occupation, assets, income, employment details, nationality, marital status, passport or other identification details, National Insurance number, tax residency and other financial information, company background, information, financial accounts, details of Authorised Signer / Director / Shareholder / Controlling Person (Corporate Customer) and your personal description.

With regard to each of your visits to our site we may automatically collect the following information:
 
- technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform; and
- information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages.

All processing of personal information described in this Privacy Notice is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests to provide products and services and to maintain our relationship with you and to protect our business for example against fraud.

With your consent, we may send you carefully selected information about our products and services. You have the right to withdraw your consent to such direct marketing at any time.

 
4. Disclosure of your information

We may share your personal information with any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

- Business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with you.

This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

 
5. Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, processed in and stored at a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA") in particular your data will be stored in Hong Kong. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA, including our staff in Hong Kong, who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the provision of support services. We take appropriate steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Notice and with applicable data protection law.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

- Deletion. You also have the right to request erasure of information we process about you , except we are not obliged to do so if we need to retain such information in order to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

You have the right to restrict processing of information about you where you believe such information to be inaccurate; our processing is unlawful; or that we no longer need to process such information for a particular purpose unless we are not able to delete the data due to a legal or other obligation or because you do not wish for us to delete it.
- Objection. Where the legal justification for processing of information about you is our legitimate interest, you have the right to object to such processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will abide by your request unless we have compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests and rights, or if we need to continue to process the data for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim.
- Portability. You have the portability right to obtain personal information we hold about you, in a structured, electronic format, and to transmit such data to another data controller, where this is (a) personal information which you have provided to us, and (b) if we are processing that information on the basis of your consent or to perform a contract with you.

We will not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of sixteen (16) years. If you are under the age of 16 you should not provide information to us. If we become aware that a person under 16 has provided personal information to us, we will remove such personal information from our files.
