e-Statement Service

Switch to e-Statement Service now in a more environmentally-friendly and convenient way

Overview

You can view and download e-Statement via our Personal Internet Banking/ "Shacom Bank" mobile App anytime, anywhere. Please switch to e-Statement Service* now to save paper, save our planet and manage your statements in a more environmentally-friendly and convenient way.

Applicable Statements:
HKD/ Foreign Currency No Passbook Savings Account statement, HKD/ USD/ RMB Checking Account statement, Consolidated Account Statement, HKD/ RMB Credit Card Account Monthly Statement, Securities Account Statement.

Why e-Statements?

  • Timely Notice:You will receive an email notification when your new e-Statement is available.
    Credit Card cardholders will receive an email notification before the credit card Latest Payment Date. ^

e-Statement Enrolment Process:

For customers who have not yet enrolled for "Personal Internet Banking Service":
Please register the "Personal Internet Banking Service" online or through "Shacom Bank" mobile App before you can use e-Statement Service. For details, please refer to our Internet Banking Registration Demo.

For customers who have not yet downloaded the "Shacom Bank" mobile App:
Please download the "Shacom Bank" mobile App in Google Play Store / App Store or the Bank's website service introduction.

 

Step 1: Login to "Shacom Bank" mobile App and click "Register" which is under "e-Statement"   Step 2: Under "e-Statement", click "Enroll /Edit"

Step 3: Select "e-Statement" under "Statement Type"   Step 4: Read declaration and remarks of e-Statement Service, then click "Accept and Continue"
 
 
Step 5: Confirm the content of enroll for e-Statement Service, and click "Confirm"   Step 6: e-Statement registration completed
 

Thank you for registering the e-Statement Service. The service will be effective after 1 working day and you will be able to receive, view, store and print statements for your account online.

Step 1: Login to Shacom Personal Internet Banking and click "Register" which is under "e-Statement"   Step 2: Select "e-Statement" under "Statement Type"
 
 
Step 3: Read the declaration and remarks of e-Statement Service, then click "Accept and Continue"   Step 4: Confirm the content of enroll for e-Statement Service, and click "Confirm"
 
 
Step 5: e-Statement registration completed  
 
 

Register Now

Thank you for registering for the e-Statement Service. The service will be effective after 1 working day and you will be able to receive, view, store and print statements for your account online.

To help you get used to the e-Statement Service gradually, when you registered the e-Statement Service1, we will discontinue the Paper Statement Service after two months.

Notes:

  1. Credit Card Statements and Securities Account Statements will stop sending paper statements after the e-Statement Service is effective.

eDefault e-Statement Service

To support environmental protection and reduce paper consumption, the existing and newly opened Personal Banking No Passbook Savings and Checking Accounts owners or credit card cardholders (including all Shanghai Commercial Bank Credit Card and Co-Branded Credit Cards, but excluding Business and Corporate Credit Card) who have registered for Personal Internet Banking will be automatically registered for e-Statement Service. Default e-Statement service may also be extended to other accounts such as Securities accounts of the Bank in future.

Notes:

  1. Starting from March 2025, the Personal Banking No Passbook Savings and Checking Accounts owners who have registered for Personal Internet Banking will be automatically registered for e-Statement Service, but not applicable to customers: (1) aged below 18 or aged 65 and above, and (2) SMART Banking customers. The Bank reserves the right to amend or terminate the email notification service without prior notice. You are encouraged to check regularly for the latest e-Statement at Personal Internet Banking.
  2. You can change the setting online from time to time. If you would like to keep receiving paper statements, please log in to your Personal Internet Banking and select "Statement – Enroll / Cancel e-Statement" to update the setting. Please note that fees may be involved to resume paper statement for designated accounts. For enquiries, please contact the Bank for details.

 

For Personal Banking No Passbook Savings and Checking Accounts#:

  1. Effective from 1 June 2025, the Paper Statement Fee HK$30 will be charged every six month per customer.
  2. The Paper Statement Fee is not applicable to customers: (1) aged below 18 or aged 65 and above, (2) SMART Banking Customers and (3) recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance or recipients of Government Disability Allowance. If customer who are (i) physically or mentally disabled or (ii) recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance or Government Disability Allowance through other banks, customer should submit the application form or relevant proof for Fee waiver or contact our Customer Hotline at (852) 2818 0282 for enquiry.

 

For Credit Card#:

  1. Credit Card Paper Statement Fee HK$5 will be charged per month per account.
  2. Credit Card Paper Statement Fee is not applicable to customers: (1) aged below 18 or aged 65 and above, (2) recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance and (3) recipients of Government Disability Allowance. Under (2) or (3) circumstances, customer should submit the application form or relevant proof for Fee waiver or contact our Credit Card Customer Hotline at (852) 2818 8236 for enquiry.

^The Bank will change paper statement to e-Statement for all credit card cardholders who have registered for Personal Internet Banking. The Bank will send email notifications when e-Statement is ready and before the Latest Payment Date. The Bank reserves the right to amend or terminate the email notification service without prior notice. You are encouraged to check regularly for the latest credit card e-Statement at Personal Internet Banking.
#These charges only apply to our bank's customers who have opened accounts in the Hong Kong SAR. For customers who open accounts at our mainland and overseas branches, please contact our overseas branches staff or Overseas Branches Service Centre in case of any enquiries.
