To support environmental protection and reduce paper consumption, the Bank encourage cardholders to register Personal Internet Banking Service for receiving e-Statement. For Personal Internet Banking credit card cardholders, the Bank will automatically change paper statement to e-Statement. Paper statement fee (HK$5 per account) will be directly debited from the relevant account if you still choose to receive paper statement.

Procedure of enrolling e-Statement Service
- Press here and press "Register Now" to register Personal Internet Banking.
- Select ATM PIN, "iAM Smart" App or Hong Kong Identify Card Verification for registering Personal Internet Banking Service.
- After two working days, cardholders can check and download all of his / her credit card e-Statement via Personal Internet Banking and "Shacom Bank" mobile App.
Exemptions for Paper Statement Fee
You will exempted from paper statement fee if you are:
- Aged below 18 or aged 65 and above
- Recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance
- Recipients of Government Disability Allowance
Under circumstances (2) or (3), customer can submit
the application form and required documents to us. Fee exemption will be effective after 5 working days after receiving all required documents. We reserve the right to ask cardholders for further relevant proof and documents.

- Which credit cards will be charged for receiving paper statements?
Paper statement fee is applicable to all SCB Personal and Co-brand Credit Card, excluding cardholders who meet the fee exemption criteria.
- How can I avoid the paper statement fee?
You can avoid the paper statement fee by registering for the e-Statement service via Personal Internet Banking.
- Will this fee charge on the month without credit card statement?
The fee is only applicable to the month that paper statement is issued. If no paper statement is issued on that month, no fee will be charged.
- Can I request for a paper statement after I registered for e-Statement service?
Yes, there is a HK$50 charge for each page of statement copy. Before 1 January 2025, cardholders who have registered e-Statement service of credit card can apply for the first 6 copies (6 months) of the account statement each year for free, which is only eligible for cardholders who cannot retrieve the specified e-Statement via online banking and the statement must be issued within 7 years.
- When will I receive the e-Statement?
The e-Statement will be issued 2 days after the statement date. You can log in your Personal Internet Banking /Shacom Bank mobile app to review your e-Statement.
